works--just remove the blue disk
just remove the blue disk (with a tiny hole) inside the hose. If you don't, the hose acts like it is in "cactus mode," (not a real term--I made that up) where it will not water well enough. This is the reason why some people have not liked this hose. That blue disk is supposed to stop dirt from clogging the system, but it weakens the water flow. We did get a 100' hose, and near the end, there is less flow, but there is still flow. We are forced to use the hose from a faucet that is down hill from the garden. Rest assured, my other hose (same brand) that runs down hill, has no problem at the end of the hose. this works, and is free of lead and other toxins.
