This 1968-D Kennedy half dollar is a must-have for any coin collector. The coin features the iconic portrait of President John F. From 1965 to 1970 the Mint struck Kennedy Half Dollars from Clad and Silver content. This year, the Mint also only struck Kennedy Half Dollars with a D mint mark. Most 1969-D Kennedy Half Dollars are very common in circulated grades up to MS63 grade. In MS64 to MS65 they become somewhat scarce. In MS66 they are now scarce with possibly 1,000 or so examples in existence. In MS67 condition they are considered condition census coins as there are less than 50 known in this condition with none known in higher grades.

This Kennedy Half Dollar has the BEST overall color reverse toning that I have ever seen!!! The obverse colors match those on the reverse to make this a PERFECT two-sided toner!!! I've seen Kennedy's with less than half the color of this coin for 4X the price!!! AND, this coins toning is NATURAL!!! A crowbar couldn't pry me away from this coin!!!

1968 40% silver clad.
This is way more than i expected. My coin folder only called for a silver clad kennedy, instead of me normally buying atleast 90 % silver coins. And for it being just a book coin, it was a great price and so beautifully flawless, i almost didnt want to put it in a book folder. Thank you much.

Usually do not like grading company's but NGC an pcgs but have to say seeing this half it for sure has been graded correctly or real close .Any silver Kennedy is nice one my favorite after the Benjamin Franklin halfs.
