Lots of research to find the best mower for my uses.
I did a lot of online research trying to find the best mower for my 2 yards and finally settled on this Greenworks 48v unit. So far, so good after a months' worth of mowing 2 yards twice a week. The best thing to consider about this mower is that no gas or oil is required. A simple push button to start the drive operation and one more to start the blade turning. Blade height is easy to adjust all four wheels with one simple flick of the adjuster rod. It can bag, mulch or side discharge with an easy change out operation. The speed controller is also nice and if you get into thick grass, you can boost the blade rotation speed to easily cut through the thicker grass. The two included 24v batteries are enough for one yard, front and back and recharging only takes about an hour. As with most battery-operated equipment, the spent batteries need to cool off for a short time before placing onto the charger. If the batteries are too hot the charger will let you know. Another thing i noticed with another reviewer is that the drive wheels need to actually disengage before you can easily back the mower up. All you need to do is release the drive handle before you get to a fence or into a corner. Problem solved! You have to be smarter than the unit and the yard you are cutting. Like i said, only time will tell if this mower meets or exceeds expectations but at this point i believe that it will.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It all depends on the battery.

Awesome mower
First time ever buying a cordless mower. Small yard 50" x 175" so the perfect thing. I let my lawn grow for 3 weeks to really test it out. Grass was 6" high. The batterys lasted only half way but i'm sure if the grass was "normal" cutting height it was have easily blasted through in one charge. Larger yards would need and extra set of batterys and i may buy two more batterys. Used it in mulching mode and the cut quality was 10 out of 10. Better than expected.
Mulches great and better than I expected. It also exceeded my expectactions on how fast it moves and it works great on my hill which is about 30 degrees, so you have to go back and forth as recommended vs up and down. Still getting used to it releasing the wheels when you let go of the gear lever, it takes a second before you can pull it back. The batteries worked for my yard, about 50 minutes and I bought the 48V model. So success for me. So far so good.
