It is a very nice phone and has great features but it does not have good sound. I have to talk on the phone under open speaker in able to hear other party. Speaker is where you talk so with phone by your ear talking, you cannot hear other party good. Battery life is not as good as I was lead to believe but it is OK. It works great in my car as hands free through car speakers. Very pretty and light weight to handle

Fast phone. Nice big screen. Good camera. Less than impressed with cell reception. Notably worse than my old Galaxy S4 Active.

First of all, I did not do enough homeworks to understand what are the differences among Samsung's Note 3 N9000 and other models such as N9005 .. etc before I purchased it thru eBay. I simply bought it thru eBay because I had very good usages of my Samsung NOTE 1 before it suffered screen blackout w/o any warnings at all. Plus, I did not need to pay huge sale taxes by purchasing thru eBay outside California. Secondly, I was bit of regret in picking the N9000 thru eBay which is the Samsung Note 3 international version. The N9000 works OK with ATT wireless network but it performs as 3G phone 99% of time. The other 1% works as 4G phone if my N9000 happens to be very close to ATT sale office. It never performs as 4G-LTE phone at all. Apart from the 4G-LTE, N9000 works superbly well when comparing with my aged NOTE 1. Especially, the enlarged battery indeed runs the phone for almost day and half usages (I turned my N9000 off at sleep) while Note 1's battery can only run you for 6 hours usages if you are lucky. Plus, the quad CPU inside N9000 sure helps with multiple tasks running while Note 1 only has single core CPU. So, I like my N9000 under WiFi environments which really beats my wife's iPhone 5S in every way. But, iPhone 5S 4G LTE 24Mbps network capability really beats N9000's 2Mbps 3G network capability to a great deal when N9000 is outside of WiFi environments.Read full review
I am very excited to be getting this phone. Although I haven't received it yet I I'm looking forward to getting it and getting rid of my note 5. This is because of the pixel density of the note 4 and the note screens. Unfortunately, I found out with my new note 5 that I recently got that the pixel density is so high (ppi around 551) that the front on the screen is that much smaller than my samsung galaxy s4. It wasn't that I was getting older after using my galaxy s4 it was just that my brand new Samsung Note 5 device has a smaller font that cannot be overridden in the settings menu even if you know what you are doing. On some pages in my emails I was unable to enlarge the screen font by using my fingers on the screen. This gets frustrating after a while even when it works because I was trying to enlarge practically everything I was having to read. As a result, I am very excited about the new note 3 I will be receiving soon. I will just have to find out if the updates will be changing the font on the screen and if they will I will be refusing these software updates. In addition when I have held the Samsung devices with the faux leather backs on them I find them more comfortable and easier to hold and not drop than the plastic and rubbery cases that I have to buy for my Samsung devices that don't have these fake leather backs. As a result, I am looking forward to holding my new note 3.Read full review

I've never owned a NOTE before and this is really an exciting adventure. I don't think I will ever go back to a regular size phone. The camera makes great pics and with a wider range. The sound is much more clear and up to date. Overall, the size makes a big difference in the fun of the phone.

I have used my note 3 on the straight talk network att sim..with out any problems whatsoever very satisfied customer. Plenty of power and strong software fast and reliable..screen is perfect size and clean crisp color and response. I do recommend for anyone looking for a note that's affordable and the stylus is a bonus..I didn't expect to use it but I do more and more to do things easier. You will like this phone..I also ordered a chemically treated glass screen protector and an otterbox defender case..it is awesome and safe..don't hesitate

I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 3 from the Galaxy S3. The first thing that I noticed when I power on this device is the big, gorgeous display. At 5.5", it's almost a full inch larger than what I'm accustomed too and has a significantly higher pixel density with an overall better quality screen. Colors are vibrant and images are crisp on the Note 3. As far as the ease of use, anyone familiar with Android phones and especially Samsung's Android devices, the Galaxy series, will be right at home with the Note 3. My device was running Android 4.4.2 when I first powered it on, which is the same version that it's running two weeks later today. According to reports, the Note 3 for AT&T should be getting 4.4.3 in the next few months and Android 5 Lollipop sometime in the latter half of this year. The Note 3 was allegedly the first smartphone to ever be equipped with 3GB of RAM, which means the phone is incredibly responsive and peppy. There's zero lag, apps open instantly and run smoothly. It's truly a joy to use, and the large battery will easily get you through an entire day of moderate to heavy use and sometimes a significant part of the next day too. The USB 3.0 connection, though a deviation from the standard micro USB port most other smartphones have these days, charges the Note 3 noticeably quicker than any phone I've ever use; when I plug the phone in to charge, the battery is at full power in about an hour, give or take, which is quite impressive considering it was taking my Galaxy S3 more than two hours to charge a battery much smaller than the one in the Note 3. The Note 3 is packed with features; even though the Note 4 is currently available, I don't feel like I'm settling for an outdated device with the Note 3. The specs were ahead of its time at its launch, and the Note 3 is still a frontrunner of mobile and smartphone technology when it comes to power and features. Some of the most useful or entertaining features include the stunning 13 MP camera with flash that takes the most incredible pictures you could ever ask for, controlling your TV using your Note 3 as a remote, and the stylus, which is way more functional than you might think. When I was considering the Note 3 as my next smartphone, I never thought I'd use the stylus nearly as much as I actually do. Sometimes I use the stylus instead of my finger when navigating through the phone's system. I couldn't be more pleased with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or recommend this device more wholeheartedly. If you're like me and are wanting an Android-powered device that offers you a bigger and more vibrant display, tons of power and pep, and plenty of fun, useful features, then the Note 3 is the phone for you. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will surely by staying with the Note series of Samsung Galaxy phones for the foreseeable future.Read full review
AWESOME describes this phone. I have used a i-phone for several years and thought maybe i would try something new I was satisfied with that phone but not what i would call impressed. I started to research and read reviews on the Samsung phones and narrowed it down between the galaxy 5-S and the note 3 & note 4 all three of these phones pretty much have the same capabilities the main difference was the screen size in the note as it is just a little larger than the 5-S. I did not find a negative review on the note I realize it is out there but i did not happen find it every thing i read was very positive and there fore i choose to buy the note, again I wasn't sure which one till I found this one New ( used 1 week ) at 1/2 the price of a new one. I feel so fortunate to have found it at this price i couldn't be happier. It does everything my Samsung tablet does so i have passed the tablet on i no longer need it and haven't used it since i received the note it is just to handy to grab the note to surf the web or what ever i need. The battery last even with me using all day it has not gone below 45%. As far as i'm concerned this phone has the newest technology out and everything you could possibly want in a great phone I love every thing about this phone and so far i have not found anything i don't like. "ABSOLUTELY AWESOME" pretty much sums up this phone ~ LOVIN IT MORE & MORE EVERYDAY ~ YesRead full review
I have BIG hands, and my fingers don't work well on the usual phone keyboards. This unit has a MUCH bigger keyboard, which speeds up my text entries a LOT. Also, the size of the display means my tired eyes are able to read it much better than the previous Galaxy phone I had. The software is great - if you set it up, it will connect to wireless access points almost automatically, reducing the time I spend on the cell towers.
