Honestly, I think this bar is fine. When you put the bar together make sure to hammer the pins all the way in so the pins don’t interfere with your hands on the bar. Also if your a heavy lifter and when I say heavy over 300lbs then you might want a different bar but for me I’m around 225 or a little more. But for the most part I’m at 225lbs or less and this bar works. Of course a more expensive bar will probably be better for a heavier lifter but again this is well worth it for your home prior to the comments I have read. People are lazy so if you don’t want to assemble the bar purchase one that is already together.

Decent solid bar. Good for beginners, not a high end bar for sure, but good for the price. My biggest complaint is the paint on the ends flakes off when you put weights off and on the bar. Not a real big deal except that I use it in a carpeted room so I have to vacuum after every workout!

Look closely at the picture of this bar, it looks like the same diameter (where you would grip it) but it isn't, it's two different diameters. The middle of this bar is a larger diameter tube (without knurling) that the ends get pinned into. This bar is connected together by using spring pins and will never be straight. The one I put together had about a 1/4" of runout on the ends.

I now have a $100+, three pieces of metal that cannot be joined together. I cannot find replacement pins that actually fit to replace the ones that came with it. It is frustrating to spend what to me is a lot of money, only to be unable to use the item. Incredibly disappointing. I will likely have to sell it to try and recoup what I've spent.

I believe that the product is built a bit too imperfect. The small metal pins did not go in easily in part because the fabrication of the holes were a bit off. This causes for the pins to not go in all the way and must be forced in. This is a bit dangerous, when wanting to lift weight near the capacity of the rating of the product. It is a bit scary to use.
