I've been using FortiFlora for years & can't say enough good stuff about it. I used to work for a vet. We had boarding kennels at our clinic and often being boarded would upset some dogs, who then developed stress diarrhea. On those occasions FortiFlora was immediately given to the dog & the results were usually pretty amazing. Generally a rapid turnaround for the dog. Ever since then I've kept FortiFlora on hand for my own dogs for the occasional gut issues that pop up. Like my one dog right now who got a bad case of food poisoning a couple of weeks ago. (She ate some rotten stuff that a raccoon threw out of the compost pile... Gak!) The vet put her on Bio Sponge and Metronidazole. After she finished her course of meds I put her right on FortiFlora to repopulate her good gut bacteria. Dogs have their own specific group of gut bacteria & can not take human probiotics.
