Hmmmmm
This bluetooth is a great device all the way around, except it doesn't stay connected to my cell and loses battery quite quickly. Lucky to get 5 hours out of it. Which is not all "talk" time. I called tech support. They are nice but...... It's crystal clear, loud and wind proof. It's just annoying that I often have to reboot the bluetooth and my phone to connect it back up. I've lost important calls because of it as I didn't know it dropped the connection to the phone. No warning. I've already had to "forget" the device on my phone and start all over reinstalling it. Waste of time. It's also not happy using another charging cord except the one that comes with it. It takes forever to recharge it in the car with another charging cord. And I have a great quality charging cord n the car. It's the proper amps and all. The plantronics last way over 12 hours and stays connected, but it's not as crystal clear as this device. This is the older model Was sealed in the box when I got it. Price was awesome. Hopefully they corrected this problem with the newer models. I try not to use it unless absolutely necessary. Jawbone Era IS A WASTE!!
The jawbone icon will let you hear the # of a person calling you and both parties can hear perfect. The Era is longer and supposed to be better but it's ten times worse!! When your phone rings you cannot hear the # of the caller because of the ringtone of your phone comes through. I can "almost" hear the # of a person trying to call come through. All I do know is I wasted almost $100.00 for this brand new Era and still have it but I went back to the icon for now. After looking online for answers I called Jawbone phone support. I have a Apple iphone 6 but the techs at Jawbone blame Apple. After talking to Apple support then driving 65 miles to their store their techs worked with the problem for over a hr. but its the ERA NOT the phone because I took the icon with me. I wish I had never bought this and I'm looking for another Bluetooth. I can assure you I tell everyone I come in contact about this problem and I'll never buy another Jawbone!! Jawbone ERA Bluetooth Earpiece
Best Bluetooth Earpiece I've ever purchased. My first Jawbone Era lasted 1 year and 6 months. Accidentally washed it. Replaced it with the same one. I've purchased them all from low end to very expensive. The Jawbone Era is lightweight, fits comfortable and securely, it doesn't move as your head moves. Cons: it was 50% less than the 1st one. The difference was it did not include the portable charger. You may want to ask before you purchase, if the portable charger is included. Jawbone, the way to go!
I have had a few Jawbone products in the past. I have loved EVERY single one of them. I recently purchased the Jawbone ERA to replace my failing older model Jawbone ERA. I love the smaller design of this product! Even lighter than the older version. I was very hesitant of the new ear piece shape. Come to find it is even more comfortable! So far, my battery life seems to be a little shorter than I am used to. A very minor downside for all of the benefits this product has! Overall I LOVE this product! I recommend them to my friends! I'm so sorry Jawbone is discontinuing this GREAT product. The jawbone is the only Bluetooth with military technology on the market today The noise cancelling feature is superior among its competitors. Once you get used to the proper jaw placement, listeners will never hear anything more than your voice while you're multi-tasking during calls. The design is as small and attractive as a piece of jewelry. I've been loyal to Jawbone more than 7 years. No one will miss them more than me :). Buy this now while you can! Product is lightweight with awesome features
I love the noise cancellation (the noise cancellation works ok out on a factory floor too), and the earpiece is really light weight.
