Although there are many drum thrones out there in many various price packages (and believe me I have tried them all) nothing on the market beats the Roc-N-Soc nitro stand for comfort and durability. A cushioned glide and Sturdy Design

The Roc-N-Soc Nitro is hands down the most comfortable drum throne out there. If you are planning to play for a long period of time, do your back and legs a favor and buy this one. The combination of the ergonomic tractor style seat, the right amount of cushion and firmness in the seat foam, and finally and most importantly, the hydraulic shock that allows the seat to bob up and down as you play.
