I bought item with an issue with “home” button. Cured with “assertive” touch feature. You don’t want to mess with replacement digitizer screens don’t adhere like original. Given it’s an IPad Air most of the gains are through the software upgrades it takes compared to iPad 4. It’s slightly lighter, display a little more crisp, it’s definitely thinner. The Air because it takes the most modern update it has more security features. Personally I just wanted a better iPad and even through its only one grade up my selling the iPad 4 only costs me around 15 bucks difference.

I bought this for my son to use for Netflix and garage band. Search for "iPad Air 2" brought me here. Price is in line with other postings for Air 2. Bought 2. Clearly the iPad Air 1. Be aware of what you're buying. The description tag of "iPad Air 2" is just to get you here from the search results. Devices both work as long as you don't need them to run any modern iOS software.

I know there is a newer model now, but this one does just about anything and for quite a bit less money. Unless you are going to put tons of music on it and are a real power user, this model is more than enough! I bought an iPad 2, then traded up to an Air when they first came out. This second one is for my daughter, who was coveting mine. It can simplify your life -- delete all your extra e-mail and run Word as well, without even booting up your computer. Nice to find a new one on eBay!

I haven't had an Apple device since 2006 when I got an iPod. I've impressed with the fast internet response and easy access to an abundance of apps. I wasn't happy about not being able to open zip files from email without another app. But, it all works and I have a bluetooth keyboard that works great with it. I am a pastor and I use the iPad during my sermon delivery with powerpoint in front of me. Love it!

I loved my iPad 2, but it was only 16 GB, and I just loaded it to the MAX, with school books, and music. I was looking at the Apple Mini's, for the smaller size screen with more storage. I am a gamer, so the extra real estate of screen size is awesome to game on. Coming from an iPad 2, this feels lighter, and the thinness makes it very easy to game on. Retina display is a noticeable screen improvement, watching movies on the Air, is a visual treat. The Air is mostly for entertainment as my iPad 2 is still an amazing tablet, and will probably get me through my classes, with much of my entertainment transfered to the Air. Love this tablet.
