Glad I found this on eBay, instead of paying full price!
TBH the price was so low, even for open box, I thought it was a gamble I'd receive a genuine product. It 100% a genuine surefire w/ all the accessories. The only drawback, it looks like someone may have tried to change out the mounting hardware and stripped the screws. Expected better
To be 100 percent honest, I expected better from surefire. I’ve been waiting over a year doing research on the x300. I’m kicking myself mainly because I got the A model instead of the B. With the A, once it snaps onto the rail, it’s still got wiggle room and play, which isn’t okay with me with it being on my edc. Great product, with a few quirks.
I love the Surefire! It is a bit bulky, but that's part of the design philosophy. I think they could reduce the dimensions slightly, but kept it the same so that it would be compatible with old Surefire X300 holsters. If I had to change anything, it'd be the switch design. I'll likely pick up some PHLster XL switches as the OEM ones are hard to hit with my smaller hands. The momentary on (push in) is uncomfortable, I would need to build a callous so it doesn't bruise my thumb. I can't hit the switches on the strong hand with my index finger and if I flip the switch down with my thumb on my support hand I have to break my grip to turn the switch back off. So far the button switches seem to work the best for me, these switches are less than ideal for my hands but very sturdy. The light is bright, with a nice hotspot and it throws a lot of light outside of the hotspot, giving you target focused illumination in conjunction with greater situational awareness.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

As it should be.
The product was well designed and functioned perfectly right out of the box. The new 600 lumen feature was noticeable from the first time you switched on the light. The switches were changed from the previous 500 lumen light which were longer and more slender to a shorter stubbier version. After working with the light on a SA Operator for only a short time hardly noticed the difference. The light was identical in shape and size to its predecessor and there was no issue in holster configuration in this particular instance, even though there are reports that this is not always the case.
