I have a bunch of other Porter Cable cordless tools and have been quite pleased with all of them. I have corded impact wrenches but as there was a great price on eBay for an "open box" one I decided for making things even easier for me and thought I'd try the Porter Cable cordless model. It's in the middle of a rather harsh Winter here in PA and I don't have a heated garage so other than switching it on to make sure it works I haven't used it yet. It looks ruggedly made and should last a good long time.

The shipping was really slow.I am truly disappointed in the performance being a porter cable I figured it would be a decent impact,I'm satisfied with the other 20v tools I have of there's but In a industrial type setting like my 3/4 ton Superduty lug nuts or my gooseneck trailer lug nuts this impact couldn't break them loose. Maybe it would be good for your typical family guy's tool box but don't expect it to perform like a Milwaukee it's big bulky and weak. There's a generic impact that is the same size of the Milwaukee and just as impressive buy it for $99.

I bought this to work on my 70 year old Ford 8N tractor. I already have a Porter Cable 20v finish nailer and 20v drill, so I have the smaller batteries and charger.. This works fine with the batteries from my drill and nailer. Sure beats running the compressor and dragging out the air hose..

This is the most powerful one I could find that runs my 20v Porter Cable batteries. I got it mostly for working on my Hondas. Wish it was brushless but it gets the job done and on lug nuts and stuck or rusty bolts it saves me a lot of swearing.

I purchased this wrench because I have these drills and batteries. If I were to be starting from the very beginning this is not the impact I would choose. The main reason for this is the size, this tool is excessively long,in my opinion. If I were starting from 'scratch',I would definitely choose a tool that could get into tighter spaces, but at my age,and with the tools I already have, this should do what I need it for, which is removing lawn mower blades.
