There is a high level of attention to detail on a part of this price point. You can tell it was built to last. Shifts with the microshift proprietary pull length are almost telepathic. This is a no brainer upgrade from what most entry level bikes come with. The clutch works very well and has prevented chain drops completely. If I had only one negative is that the pulley wheels are plastic and don't have sealed bearing. That said the wheels on there work very well they just won't last as long as the rest of the product.

Rebuilding an old Bianchi but didn't want to break the bank doing so. This microSHIFT seemed a good compromise. Pairing it with other microSHIFT products and hoping all is compatible.

For being under 75 bucks for a clutch derailleur, it works well. The clutch functions really well and the derailleur is easy to work with.

Just bought a Specialized Rockhopper with the Marvo LT 9 speed long cage rear derailleur, within 4 months of moderate use on somewhat rocky mountain trails the spring pins holding the spring inside the derailleur popped out, it is now useless. These derailleurs, if you look at them use flanged pins, this is cheap and they will pop through the case.

Great derailleur for the price. No complaints, shift smoothly.
