Serious snare
This snare is no joke. It has an awesome tone. It is beautiful and really well built. The rim shots are epic. Changing heads was way easier than I expected. The throw is smooth. I would recommend changing the head to whichever you prefer. I use an Attack Royal series no overtone. I like that head a lot. It doesn’t make the drum sound dead, but I stops it from being drowned out in overtones. But the head that came on it isn’t bad either and the drum was able to be played out of the box. I love it. Tama is an excellent company and they make amazing drums. I have a star classic set and it is one of those sets that you get excited to be able to play on. Each drum sings.
