The best sun shade for garden tractors in the last 20+ years!
I had used the former MTD sunshade for many years with my Troy-Bilt 22/46 Garden Tractor. It was difficult to attach and easily damaged... hence that product was discontinued. The newly designed model is vastly improved and can can be put up and stored without removing the sun shade. The instructions could be improved but after assembling it is not hard to figure out how to use it. A great feature is the mounting system. No holes to drill and it will fit many different tractors. The instruction manual shows how to install it on MTD, CUB CADET, TROY-BILT, CRAFTSMAN, and HUSQVARNA. Some tractor models require a few extra tools shown in the manual. Make sure your model is listed in the compatibility list on the MTD or CUB CADET website. I am very happy with this shade installed on my CUB CADET XT1 SR54. We sometimes have wind gusts here over 25 mph so I have tied the front of the shade to the front bumper. This is only needed in very strong winds.
