Product Information
Skyfox is a first-person flight combat game that has you advancing through 15 scenarios in an effort to repel the enemy's advances on your base. Armchair pilots familiar with the controls can jump into the action while novices will want to go through a series of training missions, which represent the first seven scenarios of the game. Training missions cover the control scheme and how to shoot down tanks and planes.

The eight primary scenarios have you launching small or full-scale invasions, defending walls, eliminating enemy bases, and so forth. As is the case with the training scenarios, each mission can be selected from the main menu screen. While the conditions vary from mission to mission, there is one constant: fire at everything that moves.

Before embarking on a scenario, you'll be able to see where rival structures are located as well as the positions of tank armies and kamikaze planes from the confines of your base. Once in the aircraft, a radar display at the bottom of the screen shows you where enemies are and which direction the plane is moving; coordinates are shown at the top. The plane can move in all directions and features realistic backward aircraft controls.

Whenever the aircraft receives damage, the shield meter gradually decreases, the screen will flash red, and marks are shown on the windshield. Because some enemies attack in waves, it's best to avoid direct confrontation and attack from behind. When all bases and enemies have been defeated, you can advance to the next scenario. A total of five difficulty settings such as Cadet, Wingman, Flight Leader, Squadron Commander and Ace of the Base.Product Identifiers
