The Others series by Anne Bishop
After realizing I checked out all the books in the series TWICE in the same 6-month period because I enjoy them so much, I decided to add them to my home library. The paperbacks in this series arrived on time and in good condition, a very good financial expenditure. Paperbacks are fine for my needs and I may even loan them to friends. I love reading books on my Kindle but sometimes I want a book to hold. I love the series because the lead character is intelligent but so challenged. It's amazing that the keepers managed to give her enough information to help her escape from them. I like the idea of someone being intelligent enough to sort through images when exposed to her own blood but hate the idea that the keepers were allowed to treat human women only as assets and she was able to escape. I love the idea that there might be Others who can visit retribution on bad guys. One of my favorite series!
