Great linear power supply!
Very accurate: With a selected output voltage of 20.00VDC, my Protek benchtop meter reads 19.9920V. That's a deviation of just 8mV!! My oscilloscope indicates a constant AC noise of 2.2mV p/p, independent on what DC output voltage is selected. An FFT analysis shows that about 90% of those are 60Hz remnants, the rest are 0.2mV of high frequency hash probably generated somewhere in my shack. The only nitpicks I have is a way too short power cable (I threw it away; but I think it was 4-5ft). Why not 8ft and why not shielded? Since everything else is just fine, why is it not available with separate coarse/fine voltage and current adjustments (b.t.w., they are binary encoders). I would gladly pay $10 more for a total of 4 knobs rather than push-switching the two (voltage and amps) from coarse to fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have used this unit for for two weeks as of writing this review. It functions as stated & is a reasonable value. I needed exact amp output values, so I use a handheld meter to validate & adjust outputs when required. I went to YouTube & watched videos on this unit before purchasing. Do your homework. Awsome power supply for the money
Watch when you order these machines there model numbers are pretty much the same except for the beginning letters I believe when I ordered my first one it's was a kp3005d not this one KD3005D. Of course it was not really my fault a lot of sellers not this one put this model picture for the product you were buying and not the actual product. I returned it which made a big hasel for me, but it got returned and I was much more carefully when I ordered this one... I can't believe ebay allows them to do that it was not just one seller I found like 4 to 5 sellers doing the same thing.
