I have 4 fans in my house and I upgraded each to this switch. It works great with a AEON Labs ZW090 Z-Stick, Home Assistant, and a Raspberry Pie 3b. All of my fans show up in Apple Homekit through Home Assistant.

I have one of the non-plus versions (12730) installed with a small bathroom ceiling fan for years. I added this one to an identical fan. The speed controller behaved differently than the other one, just figured it was updated firmware. The difference was the two slower speeds were way faster than my first one. It lasted 5 days before burning up. I replaced it with a GE LED/CFL/Incandescent dimmer (12724) and it works great. Infinite speed control. Don't know why I didn't try this sooner.

Great fan control through Alexa, allows me to slow the fan in the bedroom to a gentle stirring of the air rather than thrashing around over my head!

This is the CORRECT product, if like myself you made the mistake and installed a dimmer on a ceiling fan. I installed this correct switch and the humming noise is gone!

Does everything is supposed to, but the controller recognized as a dimmer, thus when you ask to set Fan to 60% for example, the response is "OK setting fan BRIGHTNESS to 60%". It is perfect in Manual mode.
