I was told this didn't exist.
I asked several people in hardware stores about a product like this and was told that no one made a line voltage thermostat. After several non-productive searches, I finally found this. A simple two wire series hookup to a 120 volt fan made my thermal solar panel work perfectly. I was concerned that it only went up to 80 degrees F, but 78 works perfectly for my installation. If one wanted the option to bypass it completely, you would be able to add a switch parallel to the thermostat. Elegant simple design, great find.
