This is an amazing book! I have many books about the Beatles, Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney's photograph book, Paul's paintings and children's books, and love them all. But when I opened this, I could not put it down for almost an hour! This is primarily in the words of the Beatles themselves, and the pictures are fascinating, too! Even though I have seen quite a few of them, put into a chronological order, and with comments by the Fab 4 themselves, it is like seeing them all for the first time. And many of them, I am seeing for the first time! This is a very large, beautiful book, perfect for a coffee table, but expect your visitors to pick it up when they see it, even if they thought that they were not fans! So if you don't want to share, put it in your bookcase or hide it away! As you can tell, I love it, and can't wait to pick it back up and start reading again.
