My 2nd order of this item
This item is exactly what I expected. It is a good value and works well; the reason I had to purchase a 2nd one (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that the head of my first one cracked and small pieces broke off so that it would no longer hold the specula. It had never been dropped or misused, the plastic head it just a bit thin. I will be careful with the current one so I hope that it does not happen again. Great item at an incredible price!
This handy device lets you see clearly all the way to the eardrum. It is lighted and has a couple of adaptors to accommodate different sized ear canals. In my case I was scheduled for an audiology test and I found it was useful to make sure my ear canal was clean prior to the test. It wasn't. Wow! I was not too sure about getting this. Due to price figured you get what you pay for. It was to my surprise, great product for price! It's Still There
I have had ear problems all my life, and surfing for the past 50 years hasn't helped. Last few years I've had tubes put in my right ear and sometimes they grow/fall out. I was able, with help, to verify that my ears are not infected and that in fact the ear tube is still in place. Good item, clear view, bright light. I was concerned about the light. This one is very close to daylight. Very good visibility. Could've been a little bit wider, but they have the other model, more expensive, bigger, better. I need this one for family checkups before going to pediatrician. It's not used for professional purposes, and just for looking at eardrum and canal it is perfect.
