THE KEY ITSELF IS FINE. IT'S GETTING THE CHIP PROGRAMED IS THE CHALLENGE !
IT IS GOING TO BE A REAL CHALLENGE TO GET THIS CAN-AM KEY ( WITH A CHIP IN IT ) PROGRAMED TO MY CAN-AM SPIDER. ONLY A CAN-AM DEALER CAN DO THIS PROGRAMING, AND THE CAN-AM ITSELF HAS TO BE PRESENT ALONG WITH THE KEY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Bad key
Tech tried 4x's to program the key and it wouldn't take. You have to cut the key in order to turn the ignition, that means you can't return it. The tech said it felt lighter, so maybe its missing the chip? $50 gone.
