If you are a ham radio operator and like to operate CW (Morse Code) and you have an older Icom radio that uses crystal filters, then there is nothing like having a good CW filter in your radio to help filter out unwanted interference. I usually buy filters on ebay because they are typically a good value. This one was no exception. However, if your radio uses solder-in filters like the FL-32A, then be prepared to remove the appropriate circuit board from your radio in order to solder in the filter. Not a horrible job, but not a walk in the park. I recommend taking lots of photos as you dismantle the radio so that you get everything plugged back in correctly when you reassemble.
