KitchenAid coffee grinder is the best ever!

The KitchenAid coffee grinder I had is in storage in another state. Woe is me! I was so happy to find the new one on eBay. Made coffee with freshly ground beans today. Happy Happy!! 1. VERY easy to use 2. The removable container is great. 3. Powerful and grinds very efficiently 4. No cleanup to speak of, unless I spill something! 5. Love the design and the color: red 6. Price offered on eBay was the lowest I found.

    Short this stock.

Unable to grind espresso coffee. Unless you like powder at the bottom and coffee bean chunks at the top even after shaking it during the grind. Cannot grind spices any finer than the size of parsley flakes. I also have a new KitchenAid toaster that has the power cord coming out from the front of the unit. And you know, it wasn't that long ago that they had a reputation for quality. BUY MADE IN USA

  • GREAT GRINDER BECAUSE OF THE BIG MISTAKE!!!!

having retired my keurig for the summer in place of making my own large iced coffees and trying to be frugal I got the cheapest bag of coffee I could buy. That being said I mistakenly got whole bean coffee! damm it!!! when I realized what I did my husband said o.k. so what are you going to do with it? I told him return it & switch it for ground coffee. After thinking on it for a while my husband asked can't you grind them? So I decided to look into grinding them(way cheaper than buying them already ground)I had to get a grinder. I found this one & was so happy it came in red!!! I already have a bunch of red kitchen aid appliances on my counter why not 1 more? I LOVE IT!!! there is nothing like fresh ground coffee! Plus it's WAY cheaper than buying them already ground. Very long story short I love it! It works well! The price was right!!! Super bonus it matches my other kitchen stuff!!!!

  • Great for cornmeal

I grew Indian corn this year and after it dried, decided to make cornmeal. This baby is powerful and fast. I put the cornmeal in one cup packages and froze them for future use. It's probably good for grinding coffee also :).

  • Great coffee grinder

Easy to use, does great job, space saving. Already had one, bought this for family member when their cuisinart broke. They are very happy with it.

  • Satisfied

Delivered timely and works well. It takes a little longer to grind the coffee beans evenly, but by then it's a very fine grind. There is no real control over the type of grind. This is not a show stopper for me as this fine grind is acceptable for me. The overall performance and style are perfect for my taste.

  • KitchenAid quality

I've used this daily for several years without trouble. Got a spare in case it does ever fail, but it may not! Maintenance free except for an occasional cleaning, which is very easy. Five star product.

  • Not worth it as a spice grinder; Not a good coffee grinder, either (There are better, cheaper).

I bought this as a spice grinder. As it turns out, the (not included) spice grinder blades are necessary to do a proper job and cost as much as the coffee grinder. This makes it all way too expensive. Kitchenaid usually makes pricey but quality things. What are you doing this time? Getting greedy? At least it comes in red

  • A great product!

You can't beat KitchenAid quality. Gave this for a gift to someone who's a "foodie" and likes gourmet coffee. He likes everything about it and uses it everyday to get him awake and off to work and school.

  • What a relief!

I have tried several grinders previous to the Kitchen Aid and all I can say about the others was "what was the designer thinking". This one is easy to use, clean and looks decent. The problem with it is that getting it to grind all the beans is difficult. Result some are overground and powdery (meh) and others not ground at all.
