It might not be up to date: but it clears up some points you can't find online about using different tools on your RAS. I don't see myself cutting steel with my RAS but they were originally designed to do just that. I have though about using it as a drill Press or overarm Pin router, and a Shaper.
I've even thought about making a Jig to turn my RAS into a Lathe with a pulley system and belts.
The book doesn't say that its my take on what can be done with the tool. You just have to think outside the box.
I bought one of these old monsters, but I was amazed at all the options that it had and all the things you could do with one. It also listed all the do's and do not's which is important to me.
