I am pleasantly surprised by this product. Very easy to set up. The speaker sounds great. Works well with my calendar, music, etc. The only issue I have is that I can't figure out how to increase the volume on the alarm. I would have given 5 stars, but for this. A Google assistant without the Google quality.
When it works, it is nice, but inconsistently responds. Nearly every other response is "hmm...something went wrong". I have 3 minis an 1 regular Google assistant. Good Product but for a Couple of Things
This product is essentially a Google Mini with a clock. It works really well and sounds great. My first complaint is that the volume for the voice response cannot be adjusted. The volume control is only the streamed media and there's a seperate volume control for the alarm you can access on a phone or tablet (which really should be something you should be able to set either on the device or using your voice). The second problem is that an alarm cannot be set up to use a streamed medium. The alarm MUST be the alarm sound. I had purchased this item to replace my clock radio. My intention was to have the stream from my favourite news channel wake me up. This device cannot do that ... yet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Purchased one a month ago and had to have another for an additional room. Music from this device is excellent and is easy to setup. The device has the ability to provide you morning information such as the temperature outside, the estimated commuting time to work, business and global news followed by your favorite music. My wife truly enjoys listening to devotional podcasts from Dr. Randy Carlson to start her morning. All in all it is a good value and good product. Just what i was looking for.. I gave mines to my daughter and thought I was doing something by upgrading to the echo dot. 🤦🏾♀️Big mistake, not at all what I wanted or thought I was upgrading too. Then I realized my favorite speaker (the one i gave my daughter) is now discontinued!!!! 🥺 I was stressed out!!! My daughter fell inlove with this speaker and was not trying to give it back!!! Needs to improve
I have installed several Google Home Devices, this has been the most difficult by far. After setting it and resetting it 4 times I still can't get it to display the correct time and the temperature does not even show.
