Potassium Citrate - Blood Pressure
Hello, I researched the subject of potassium citrate and high blood pressure. Then, I purchased my first bottle - Swanson Potassium Citrate. There are other types of potassium supplements. Potassium Citrate is the ONE that is expected to assist with blood pressure. It DOES CONTROL blood pressure for me ! I measure my blood pressure at home twice each day. My personal condition allows me to control my level to a good range about half the time with use of potassium citrate. I find that blood pressure is highest the first and second days after drinking alcohol. I take my prescription drug on these higher blood pressure days. I sometimes add my potassium citrate to my coffee making by opening the capsule to add to the coffee within the filter. I am happy to replace daily use of a prescription drug with this supplement as this gives the body organs a break from the side effects of my HBP prescription medication.
