Light with good coverage
This makeup feels light on your face, yet it covers evenly and smoothly. I would recommend it for someone who wants a natural, light makeup base that can be set with a light dusting of powder. It lasts most of the day, and the compact is convenient for touch-ups. The only downside is that a compact last about 4-6 weeks depending on use, and I hate adding the plastic and the mirror to the landfill every time because it doesn't wear in that short period of time. I wish there were a more earth-friendly packaging option or a larger portion of product. I have to rebuy every 6 weeks. This is absolutely the best make up. My skin is combination, oily T-zone, dry cheeks. It is light , but covers very well, hydrating but not oily, applies easily with a damp sponge, and blends easily. My skin looks healthier after I take it off, so sometimes I put it on not because I'm going out, but because it improves the condition of my skin - kind of like an 8 hour mask you can wear out in public! Very unfortunately, I think it's being discontinued because it is becoming impossible to find in stores, which is why I sought it online. I've loved using Covergirl Aquasmooth Makeup over the years. It glides on so easily and feels and looks so natural, while still covering blemishes. It comes in several shades which match your skin tone perfectly. I finish it off with a little blush on the cheek bones and just a bit of loose powder over that.
