Did not fit my John Deere LX178 as stated.
This item was supposed to fit a JD LX178 however it was two inches to long. I was fortunate enough to have a chop saw and welder so I cut 2 inches out of the center of the rid and weld it back together. Also the threads were different than my original so I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase new ones .
