Melitta Look IV
Am very impressed with this well built bit of kit. The main difference to a conventional drip/filter coffee machine is the lack of heating plate which always burns the coffee (in my experience), this machine has a double walled vacuum stainless steel jug instead. The walls a thick and it keeps the coffee warm for hours. The lid has a silicon seal and is sprung so it keeps heat loss to a minimum as you're pouring. The filter bay can be entirely removed for ease of cleaning so no complaints there. The water container at the top is conventional and has a swing lid with clear measurements on both left and right sides. Finally the machine looks smart and doesn't diminish your kitchen worktop, always a bonus! There a cable winder beneath so you can elect which side the cable ejects from to connect to your electrical outlet/socket.Read full review

Great Coffee, Great price
I live alone so I have no need for a machine which makes 14 cups of coffee, this machine can make half that. It’s designed for you to drink the coffee when it’s made, just as it should be and not kept hot all day. It’s quick, easy to use and easy to clean and it DOES make great coffee. The Timer feature means that you can set it up before you go to bed and it makes the coffee for you when you wake up in the morning. Very good value for money, I’m very pleased with it.

Brilliant machine and great tasting coffee
A really sturdy simple to use coffee machine. As a bonus, there is a stainless steel coffee jug..I unfortunately broke my last coffee jug as it was glass! I forgot to buy the descaler powder at the same time as buying the machine! Dont make the same mistake as I did! I do really recommend this Melitta machine though!

Quality coffee machines
These need not be complicated or expensive. The Melitta Look Therm with timer and insulated jug, is the easiest and most dependable way to make a decent cup of coffee. It will make a small amount for one person, but proves it’s worth when you want to cater for a family or dinner party. Best of all, you can take the jug outside, no glass to break, and the coffee will stay hot for quite a while.

Worth the extra cash
Great machine. The stainless steel flask style jug keeps coffee warm for 90 minutes. Over 2 hours if you pre-warm the jug. Doesn’t stew the coffee as it doesn’t have or need a hot plate. It would be great if it had a button that selected the amount of water / cups you want. Refilling would also be easier if the water reservoir was removable. However, these are issues common to all machines of this type and don’t detract from what is a great coffee maker for the price.
