Was so happy to receive this great KitchenAid after my roommate took his with him when he moved... this is a slightly larger model but makes less noise and is smoother at mixing. Made a good batch of dough with ease and all the settings work great. Look forward to using it for a long time and looks great in the kitchen. Mine came in original packaging and has the right attachments, want to start using the accessories which is what makes this a great deal, good price considering what they retail for... happy mixing!

Love, love, love this machine! I'm so glad I found it refurbished, it was far more affordable and it looks barely used. It might have been a floor model. It has a large capacity bowl and is very easy to operate. This mixer saves me an enormous amount of effort and time for making a favorite holiday no-bake peanut butter cookie recipe, my sole reason for buying it. I tested it and my family is now enjoying the spoils! Next I'm going to put it to use with other recipes.

Some signs of repair here and there - it looks like the prior owner may have really destroyed it judging by some visible solder on a few out of the way components, but the fact that it works good as new just speaks to how thorough their refurbishment process is. Getting a $400+ stand mixer for half price is a hard deal to pass up and considering this operates, and (at least on my counter) looks like a brand new stand mixer, I have absolutely no complaints. In summary: You will know this is refurbished if you give it a thorough look over, but that's a *good* thing. They're not just taking returns and slapping a sticker on them. Kitchen Aid's factory refurb process is legit and buying this equipment as refurbished is a great way to save big.

I have always wanted a Kitchenaid with the accessory hub and when I saw the bowl-lift model, I knew that was perfect for me. Now that I own and use one almost daily, I have to say it is powerful, easy to use, and very versatile. If I had a complaint, it would be with the manual. It is brief and leaves out a lot of little instructions, like how to attach accessories, but that's a little thing compared to all the good stuff about this mixer.
