Great Find for RCA connection from DirecTV remote box.
I wanted to attach my DirecTV box to a device with RCA connectors. This worked first time and has not given me any issues. Because this is a RCA connection, the video is only at RCA levels. Don't expect it to be as crisp a picture as obtained via the HDMI connection. Please note, I did not try hooking this up to the DirecTV main controller. This 10 pin adapter, not many realize, allows one to plug into the back of their Direct TV wireless Genie box. It'll access auxiliary RCA Connectors for Video & Right, Left Audio. Good quality cables
If you are an AV installer like myself you absolutely need to keep these on your truck as the DirecTV installers no longer seem to have them on theirs!!!!! Well what do you expect of AT&T!!! These are essential in some cases to get an analog sound feed out to older stereo or surround systems or to a whole house audio system and some older Plasma TV's!!
