Been in corrections for 20 years. Always used small key clips. The Zak clip makes it easier to retrieve and place all your keys with ease and the most important thing in my profession, it keeps your keys safe without worry of losing them.. Great product.

This is a great piece of gear for your every day carry. It seems strong and lightweight. There is one thing I would change though. The fact that it's made for large belts only irritates me. I wear a 1.5 inch belt everyday and using this clip it either sloppily rides loose or at times it jabs upward into my gut. If there was a smaller one made especially for 1.5 belts, which is the average size of edc carriers, then it would solve that issue. Make a large one for those 2 inch and above duty belts and make a smaller one for us everyday carry guys. I'm going to modify mine by heating and bending the steel so that it will fit my belt.

It works very well for average or smaller key sets. I sometimes carry rings of multiple large brass keys. I have sat down with the large keys before and they slipped off this type keeper. Zak has a more secure keeper for those, but it is more expensive.

This keyholder is EXTREMELY DURABLE and safe. It is very easy to clip and remove your keys on the back of your duty belt and KNOW that they are secure.

I think the spring tension at the keyring insert point is to strong. it takes more effort when attaching the keyring than I believe is necessary, I believe the price is high considering the material cost and manufacturing cost to produce.
