Very Nice! Classic Robocut..
Understand these UK versions knight has only come with a UK 3 pin transformer (240v to 24v). Luckily I already had an original USA transformer (120v to 24v) for this red unit so it was easy to change it out. I think knight is the only place on Earth that has some of these 'Brand New' Robocut R28 red units left; as you know they are not made anymore. I'm Verrrrry Happy to have a brand new Robocut again instead of buying used ones, so I will baby it and make it last as long as I possibly can - till death do us part! fwiw, the red R28 units metal gears are a little louder than the White model R28 units. The case is assembled with screws rather than glued; otherwise they are more or less basically the same. The owner of Roboocut (Alfred) years ago told me on the phone that the Red units were better made - they seem to be, and I have them both, but I'm not sure which one actually last longer yet; but no one has any brand new White models anymore anyway, and so this 'Brand New' Red R28 unit available is the only game in town until knight runs out of them. Great hair cutter
This is a replacement for previous model that I have used every haircut for the last 16 years. I dropped the old one on a stone floor, it cracked and I prefer not to use it where there are moving parts close to my person (it is not fragile unit but it was almost thrown at the solid floor) If used with the same settings it (2 settings per haircut) gives you the exact length you desire. (one setting for the top the other for lower sides & back). My hair always looks the same as I don't wait till it grows long. I have a thing about a person looking tidy if there hair is neat. Fantastic piece of kit
Bought this to replace one purchased 8 years ago. It is used by all the family, male and female, and is great for even longer hair. As it is attached to any standard vacuum cleaner there is no mess, not even any hairs down the back of your neck!
