Best ever
These fobus holster is so much nicer than my Blackhawk. Fantastic. You will love it. I have it for my .45 cal 1911 compact. Perfect. I want one for my lcp 380 custom. Can't use the holster for the first or second generation lcp 380 the custom has bigger sights. Please let me know when I can buy one. Thanks so much guys.

Poor Fit
This model is made to fit several different model guns so it does not fit any gun well at all! If you buy a Fobus holster, buy a model specific holster.You will have to work hard with the retention feature for hours in order to make it reliable in a self-defense situation. It will be very difficult to draw a weapon quickly. I no longer recommend Fobus holsters, there are better choices.

Fobus for 1911
The holster arrived as expected. Packaged well and correct fit. The holster was new and tight also as expected. A little silicone spray in the trigger area and loosening the tension screw and the draw is fast and smooth with no drag. Re-holster is very smooth and easy as well. A very nice positive fit. I see a lot of videos showing a holster upside down and retaining the firearm. I don't wear this upside down so what does that matter? I didn't want tight. I wanted retention and this fits the bill whether riding four wheelers or tractors or in the truck. Even with a light jacket or hoodie over it I can still know the firearm is there and will be easily available if needed.

One of the few quality Browning HP holsters
Fit right out of the box!! Locks in and stays put. I looked all over for a holster to fit my Belgian Browning HP - did not want leather or nylon. This is the one if you like your modern oR vintage HP. I have one of each: a WWII and a modern surplus Belgian Police - both fit. Easy on and off, but stays on the belt.

Does not fit properly
Very tight fit even with retention screw all the way out. Seems like it would be a good holster if it fit right. Looks nice when holstered but just too tight.
