Good workmanship, good for collectors
As with the dwindling quality of retail market dolls since approx. 2010, Barbie enthusiasts have had to rely more increasingly on the more collectible niches of dolls produced. Solitaire, inspired by the character from the James Bond movie "Live And Let Die" does not disapoint. The détails and care brought onto the doll's design and manufacture is of great quality, from her outfit to her eye makeup, and even the hairstyle, the doll is simply a fabolous addition to any collection. From the Black Label series, model muse body with one straight and one bent arm, Lara face sculpt (although her eye paint/makeup could almost suggest an Aphrodite sculpt). This particular model also features an enhanced "front end" probably to enphasize the outfit, a feature also found on most other "James Bond" dolls, as well as some "Dynasty" (TV show) dolls and a couple of others. In my opinion not the absolute "best" Lara faced/model muse doll out there, but quite an incredible design nonetheless which will surely be admired by collectors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
