Trailer hitch for 01-10 Silverado GMC 2500 3500 Class 5 13,000lbs
Packaging was good, arrived quickly, easy to install, came with all hardware needed to install, I would recommend using air or power tools to take out the old bolts, but use hand tools to remove the nuts holding the bumper braces, If you have a older rusty truck. It comes with installation instructions easy to follow. Hitch looks and feels much more heavy duty than the original. Good reasonably priced hitch
I have an 04 HD Chevy with the duramax. My factory hitch was getting very rusty, and I've been looking to replace it with a class V hitch for some time now. I decided on this hitch not only because of its relatively cheap price, but it is also rated a bit higher than some of the other more expensive hitches. Good quality! Do not try without an impact gun!
I put this hitch on my 2005 Chevrolet 2500HD (Duramax) because the original was rusty. This hitch is way stronger than the OEM hitch. It took about 2.5hrs to install it. Everything lined up nice, but I did end up using some of the original bolts. The hitch didn't come with a complete set of hardware. I would not even try this project without an impact gun!
