Smallest solderless, screwable 1/4" right-angle plug
This latest incarnation of Lava's solderless, screwable right-angle plug, for Tightrope Cable (by Lava), is the smallest yet, which is great news for people putting together pedalboards. The thread on the cap is shorter and so it does not function exactly like the previous versions. It appears that this is much less expensive than Lava's previous version. I am not sure but it doesn't appear as shiny as Lava's Trillium Silver Plated Copper plugs which sell for a lot more. Not to be confused with the newer Lava Piston plugs, which are even smaller, but require an allen wrench to build and repair.

Great product
Got these extra plugs in order to make five more patch cables from the Tightrope kit i already had. I was then in total able to make ten patch cables and I still have cable left. Get this if you need to make more than five patch cables out of the Lava Tightrope kit.

A cheap alternative, with a downside.
I've used these and the plugs that come in the lava cable kit. The core wire fits too snugly in these plugs and can snap off. It happened to me twice and now I'm down to only 8 plugs. That was never a problem with the plugs in the kit. That being said, these are pretty cheap you just need to be careful during installation.
