Money was no object, I could have purchased any sub on the market that I wanted: JL, Alpine, FOX, anything. Then I ran across NVX. Not much out there review wise, bit for the price, I though "Why not....Let's give NVX a try" I am not disappointed. I am using one in a sealed enclosure in my BMW X5. HOLY CRAP This thing hits and hits HARD! I am running it with a Rockville RXD (also an experiment that paid off wow!) at a full 800W (the amp pushes 1100W according to Amp Dyno at 13.5V) and have driven the sub all the way up to a full1500W...It just asks for more! It plays loud, and clean. My sound meter recorded a crazy sustained 22Hz. The whole SUV just shook and shook, off one! The sound is musical, accurate, clean and loud plus it still pumps it out down around 50 to 75 watts. My only "complaint" is the frame could me a little sturdier. But hey thumps. I lobe it I think you will too. I bought the 200W version for a love Watt application. I am impressed. Read full review

I have tried four different sub's in a rear under seat box in a Ram 1500 quad cab truck and didn't none of them give me the sound or bass i was looking for. But the NVX 10" VS-Series sounds great in the box, never thought i would find the sound or bass that I was looking for, but the NVX hit it just right !!!

the sound quality is great, the build quality on the other hand is not good. The spider became detached from the cone within a week of use and it produces a terrible sound. Wouldn’t recommend for car audio, would be great for movies
