This is a awesome shifter for just about any old school truck that you want to put a floor shifter in. Bought this to swap out my current shifter which is a B&M star shift that was already in the truck when I bought it. I just hate having to reach down to shift the truck. Great shifter. Works exactly as needed.
We installed this shifter in a 1984 chevy s10 with a v8 and 4speed automatic (700r4). Easy to adjust and it fit between the dash and seat perfectly. Had to use a 5ft shifter cable to give a nice smooth loop and I sourced it from Summit Racing. Highly recommend this shifter! Edit: Make sure to install the gold bracket on the shifter end of the cable on the underside of the mounting tab on the shifter frame. If you install the bracket on the side facing the handle it will not let you adjust for Park and 1st at the same time because it makes the cable not have the proper adjustment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
