I recently bought a used Alienware 17 R4 that had a faulty charger. When I was searching for a new one, I noticed when looking through photos that a lot of sellers don't sell the actual Dell brand even though they claim too. Or better yet they don't mention the correct watts or features. This one came as expected with all of my requirements and complete compatibility with the laptop. Usually I don't search this hard for a charger, but when you need something this powerful you want to find the right one. A++
