These books have given me, a Christian, a real picture of what the Tribulation could be like. The authors have done a great job of coming up with reasonable explanations for the prophecy in Revelations. In this book we are at the mid-point of the Tribulation. The Antichrist was assassinated in the last book and Rayford was sought for the killing. In this book we learn the real killer - even though you had strong suspicions from the clues in the last book. Leon has gained mind powers similar to Nicolea's and convinces every one - even the mortician that did the autospy that a gun wound killed the Supreme Potentate despite evidence to the contrary. Nicolae is prepared for burial and a big event planned for the funeral. Tsion begins to worry as Nicolae remains dead. He had expected the resurrection to occur immediately and is having real doubts. I had no doubt that it would not occur until after 3 days as most of Nicolae's life has grossly mimicked Christ's. But out of body experiences reminiscent of John's trip to heaven in Revelations sooths his doubts. Chaim hovers around becoming a believer and makes a dramatic conversion during a high peril event. A beloved Trib member dies. The GC has found Rayford's safe house and David searches out the perfect new place. A new member joins the Trib Force, Albie - a pilot and black marketer. During a hair raising rescue of Ben-Judah and Kenny, Rayford doubts the new member. Crowds swell Jerusalem for the funeral. At the last minute of the funeral memorials the Antichrist rises and mocks many of Christ's words and actions. At the end of the book he announces that all must worship him and that he is god himself. He promises to make the Christians really suffer during the "Great" Tribulation unless they worship him.Read full review
The Indwelling, the seventh in a series of eleven by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. The Indwelling is the story of the Beast taking possession and the continuing drama of those Left Behind. You will find it a remarkable storyline and an easy read. This book covers the midpoint of the Seven-Year Tribulation. After reading the third book in the series my Opinion is that the series has gotten better with each new book. You won't be able to put it down and you will be reaching for book # 8 in the series as fast as you finish the last page of book #7. The best Prophecy based fiction I have ever read. I would recommend this book to all.
Having not been able to put the books down after reading Left Behind and Trib Force, this one was right up there with the others, fast paced and leaving a trail that had to be followed. The moment Nicolae rose from the coffin, you knew this was going to be another great chapter in Rayford Steele, Cameron Williams and the others in the Trib Force's lives, taking you on an armchair adventure with them. The suspense and the emotion rollycoaster is absolutely perfect, you laugh with them, cry with them and revel in their accomplishments. A truely wonderful series to get involved in.
Loved this book. I am reading the entire set Books 1-12. These are intense and a must read for anyone interested in knowing about what takes place in the end times. It is very important to study God's word and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. I would not want to have to endure what takes place in the end times. It is not to late to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Jesus died on the Cross so that we could have Eternal life with Him in Heaven. All we have to do is accept him and believe in Him.
