This is the worst device I have ever seen; it doesn't work! It's horribly designed, defectively engineered, and/or badly manufactured. The cover to the controls is extremely difficult to remove; while the top edge pops off halfway easily, it can't then be removed. Instead you have to push the top back into place, then use a knife edge to fiddle with the actual latch under the bottom edge. After removing the cover, you confronted with the two additional terrible design elements. First, you need a magnifying glass or smartphone magnifier to see the control's labels. Next, you need a custom tool (which they don't provide) to adjust the 3 dials, because no standard tool (e.g. #1 Philips, narrow bladed computer screwdriver, etc.) works; they're either too big or too small. It's almost like Nuton designed it to be frustrating. Finally, unless you're 20 with perfect eyesight, their instructions are too small to read without a magnifier or enlarging them; too cheap to use 25% larger paper so they could print it in 10 point type instead of 4 - 6 point microtype. Then once it's installed and adjusted, it doesn't work. It cycles ON and OFF all day at 40% humidity, but it doesn't turn ON at 100% humidity during a shower that steams up the mirrors. So what's the point of a humidity sensing switch that can't detect high humidity or increasing humidity, but continually cycles ON and OFF when low humidity is present; I guess Nutone wanted to sell a device that wastes electricity, generates needless noise -- all night long -- and frustrates their customers. On the other hand, it's probably more likely that their electrical engineers didn't know what they were doing, and/or their executives wanted to used the cheapest components to maximize their ridiculous pay. Don't buy it; an utter waste of your time and money.Read full review
