  • What does brand new mean?

I thought brand new meant that it came new in original package. The problem wasn't that it was not in original package, the problem was that the cover was not in good shape. It had been bent in several places and wasn't in pretty rough shape. Other than the cover the rest looks ok, but I never would have paid over $100 for a book that was no new in original package. I could've paid a lot less.
