I have been using regular monofilament for the past thirty years. Last year I began experimenting with braids and flourocarbons. Each has distinct advantages and drawbacks. This line is the perfect line for the mono guy looking to try something new. Incredible knot cinching and line has the inherent benefit of flouro being stiffer thereby transferring motion better and being almost invisible in the water. (I use 10 lb. test) I highly recommend this product. Happy fishing!!!

This line is not very tough and is quirky. It gets tangled around the end of my pole in a crazy way when reeling in. Oddest thing I’ve seen. Have never had this happen with other lines. If it keeps up, I’m replacing it on the 4 reels I installed it on. So far I’m completely unsatisfied with it and would not buy it again. It’s not like I don’t know how to install line or use a fishing pole. I fish all the time. It’s this crazy line!

Finally, what I was looking for. Just getting back in to full time fishing after about 30 yrs. I thought braid was going to rule. I hate braid now. Even 832 is too weird, and even it makes a noise on retrieval through any guides. Mono is still good. Fluoro is hard for me to work with. This Yo-Zuri had great reviews but I bought it last--and I won't use anything else. Memory is less than mono. Line is light but strong. Easy to tie...I can tie up loop knots on my crankbaits quickly. Better than all the other kinds. This old guy has found his line--try it for yourself!
