My Tudor used this book as our learning companion, and I was reading a bit Hebrew from a Seder within a few lessons. With practice and exercise, alongside practical application from a prayer book or Torah, this little book offers an opportunity to decode Hebrew text. I say "decode" because the book is written in such a way that it's not meant to teach the meaning of Hebrew words, but rather offer the learner a stepping stone to decoding the Hebrew letters so that they can be cross-referenced for interpretation, if desired or needed. If a reader only wishes to learn to look at a page of Hebrew text and read the sounds and words, this book is a perfect choice. And I couldn't be more pleased with my results from its application.
Each chapter is clear for making learning successful, Review from prior chapter, practice sentences, writing, matching words and sounds. I feel this is the book to learn Hebrew.
