  • Budget Card for Optimal Performance/Graphics

The GTX 650 Ti BOOST is one of the few old high end cards that had a memory bandwidth of 192-bit for a reasonable price. While GDDR5 amount is still important, the bandwidth is most important for swifter gameplay. It's very low cost for what it's been pushed to its greatest limits to achieve. While it's not 4K intended to run at 60 fps it can most definitely run at 1080p at max graphics for almost anything. There may be some frame drops or slight loading time during scenes on ffxiv, devil may cry 4 and titan fall but it certainly beats the lag you'd endure with a GTX model 750+ that's not overlooked. Also consider the price here. You get a win/win. Great price, great results - a satisfaction guaranteed if you are okay with maybe a small loss on frames (maybe 2 or 9) from top games like dark souls III. Pros: 192-bit instead of the 128-bit standard. Low priced Shadowplay ready. VR ready for Samsung. Cons: No 4k@60fps maxed graphics

  • A GPU performing well for modern games

Performance is amazing. Cooling should be manually adjusted. SLI'ing this card can be an option with another pair.
