200W soldering iron at a bargain price.
This iron has a large copper tip that can be removed and shaped and bent to fit your application. I put the tip in a vice and bent it to 90 degrees and then shaped the tip with a grinder/file to make it about 1/4 inch round and flat ended for soldering 18650 batteries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great 120 volt 200 watt soldering iron

True 200W 110V iron! Honest seller.
This is a true 200W 110V iron! I checked it with an AC power meter and it read 177W when I first plugged it in. This means it's a true 200W 110V iron! Resistance will go down a bit as temperature increases, I believe, bringing it up to a full 200W when hot. Most 200W irons on Ebay are 220V, which means in a 110V outlet they produce only 110^2/(220^2/200) = 50W, instead of 200W of power. Some sellers lie about their 220V irons and sell them as 110V-compatible irons, in which case you'd get 50W out of a "200W" iron. This seller is honest. They sell a true 200W 110V iron. Thanks!
