Wonderful first hand information on places of historical interest in Hangzhou.
If you are familiar with Hangzhou or are looking for the old names of the places you once knew, this is a great book. If you are not familiar with Hanghzou, it will not be interesting. My interest was historical, so the personal parts about her life or about missionary work wasn't particularly compelling. However, the bits and pieces about Great Street North and certain places there, as well as information about the Manchurian district were fabulous. Couldn't find better first hand information unless you read Chinese.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
