Great replacement Ear Pads for Sony Headphones
I really liked the feel of the original Sony Ear Pads. The headphones are great and feel good. When the original ear pads starting flaking off I wanted to get them replaced. I liked the original ear pads so well I got these Genuine Sony Replacement Ear Pads. They feel just like the original ones that I liked so well. I watched some video's on how to install the replacements. These were easy to replace after watching the video's. It does take patience. But I got them installed in under 5 minutes. I just started at the top sliding the edges into the slot between the two metal pieces of the headset. It slipped out a few times, but I just needed to hold it in on both sides with my fingers as I moved my way down slipping the edge in. I also used a small tool to make sure the edges slipped in far enough. You could also use a credit card to help slip the edges in between the metal pieces. Once in it all stayed. There were comfortable as soon as I tried them on. I wish they didn't cost this much for the replacement, but I'm happy now. I don't have any pieces flaking off on my face and shoulders.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simply Put These Are The Ear Cushions That Came On Your Headphones When You Purchased Them!
If you WANT Original Sony Replacement Ear Cushions then I recommend them. I can't truthfully say that it is a good value or good quality. I can say they are just like the ones that came on your headphones when you bought them new. If you liked them then you will like these. I really like the Sony MDR-7506 headphones myself and would buy another pair if needed. I am a professional musician and have other headphones that cost much more and one pair that cost 3 x as much. They are all good headphones but I prefer the 7506's because of their weight and comfort as well as for their good, solid sound quality. So, when it came time to replace the ear cushions I didn't want to deal with another brand or some off brand that may or may not be better or just as good. Therefore I purchased the genuine Sony replacement ear pads. I am happy that I did. If you have never replaced ear cushions before then it will take you a couple of minutes or so to get the hang of doing it. OEM pads for MDR-7506
These OEM pads, even though they are expensive, actually fit. The stitched edge drops into the retaining groove very tightly. Inexpensive generics I tried never fit well and would fall off eventually. Well, I own two sets of these very old headphones and one's on its second set of new pads, the other, its first. Brought new life to my 15 year old headphones
This is second pair of these Sony's. I wouldn't say they're built like a tank but they sure have lasted a long time. I switched out the pads after many, many years and they feel like new.
